Zoommy Help Target New/Edit
|
|
While creating a new target, you should enter its name. While editing a target, you cannot edit its name. Select the application file or just drag and drop the Finder Tool to the window to be used as a new target. While selecting a target, you specify all or several parameters in this dialog box. The specified parameters are necessary for identifying application windows
- Target name - Unique name of target
- Target type - the target type can be either a window or an application. If it is an application, all windows of this application are considered as one target
- Caption - window title. If the application always or sometimes changes its title (for example, text editors often show the name of the currently edited file there), clear this checkbox or Zoommy will not be able to detect it if the window title changes
- Class - window system identifier. They help Zoommy identify the window
- Style - window system identifier. They help Zoommy identify the window
- StyleEx - window system identifier. They help Zoommy identify the window
- Path - the path to the executable file of the application the selected window belongs to
- Associated profile - the name of the profile associated with this target. Click the list and select any of the available profiles
- Finder tool
- Browse - browse the application executable file
Targets
Targets are applications or separate application windows you define. If the mouse pointer is currently over such an application or such a window, Zoommy will switch the options to the selected profile in case the profile auto switch mode is on. For example, when you work with a graphic editor, Zoommy shows information about the selected pixel, but if you are in a text editor, it does not show this information
